I have really been into trying new fun recipes lately. Something different that I don’t make every day, but they are easy and fast. Oh, and of course scrumptious. I was getting tired of the same old thing for supper every night.

So, I hope you don’t get annoyed with my food pictures.

Pizza Dough, Pepperoni, Motz Cheese and Mushrooms
(you can put whatever you like in it)

Wrap it up and cut slices

Bake @ 350 for about 20 min or until golden brown

Add some dipping sauce!! And you've got yourself (and husband, kids, family, etc.) a fun, fast easy meal.

This is even one your kids might enjoy helping you make!

Wonderful Neighbors

So when we came to look at our apartment to rent, we ask who are neighbors would be. There are two younger couples and an older gentleman that live in the other apartments. We were told they are pretty quiet neighbors, but the elderly man next to us is hard of hearing so his TV may be loud. No big deal.

So this morning as I am cooking breakfast, I look out the window and see Ed our elderly neighbor sweeping the snow off the sidewalk for everyone. So, I poke my head out the door and say "Thank You". No response. A little louder I say "Thank You". Again, he keeps his head down sweeping. So in a voice loud enough that I’m sure everyone heard I say "Thank You" again. Ed pops his head up and looks at me with a questionable look. I said “I was just saying Thank You”. He smiles, puts his head down and continues his job.

Well, that explains why I can catch the Buckeyes score through the cement wall. He REALLY can’t hear a thing. I told Darren at least we don’t have to worry about talking loud. He will never hear us.

Long story short I had to giggle to myself when I shut the door, but I am thankful for our wonderful neighbors who live next door.

NO... not physically running...I might passout.
I have such a wonderful husband! Tonight after Bible study I had a craving for Arby's...so we made a quick dash for a roast beef sandwich! hahaha When a pregnant woman’s hungry she's gotta eat! :) I go Friday for my 24 weeks check-up. Nothing exciting...just the norm routine visit. 6 mths…wow a little less than 3 more to go!

Wow...the puppies are just over a week old and they are all spoken for!! People love Goldens! I can't believe it...with in days of putting an ad on craigslist they all have homes. BUT...I get to hold them a little while longer until they are old enough to leave their Mama.

Well…so on a happy note of today. I got a call early this morning from Dad and Mom that HoneyBee had, had her puppies!! I almost couldn’t stand it, but waited till Darren got home tonight so we could go see them. She had 10 puppies total, 2 died so we have 8. I think she might have started in the barn and then finished in the doghouse and forgot to go back for the other two. She is a good mommy taken care of them. Hunter doesn’t know what to think!?!

We moved her and the puppies into the shed. They are snug as a bug.

They are SO cute…but we are not keeping them. We are going to sell them once they are old enough. 4 Girls and 4 Boys

One Year Ago Today

A year ago today we lost our beautiful baby boy. I cannot believe it has been a year already. Darren and I are so thankful for our precious three months we were given to spend with Logan. Even though there is a hole in our hearts that will never been filled we are thankful to know he isn’t suffering anymore.

I love reading over Logan's Blog that Rachel kept for us and feeling again all the love that people left for us. http://loganjameswatkins.blogspot.com/

We are so grateful to our family and friends who stood by us during those trying months and for those who continue to stand by us. And most of all for the strength that we can only receive from Above to move forward.

Something growing up you never think you’ll face, losing a child. It is one of those things that “Will Never Happen to You”. But, I now have a greater appreciation and understanding for those who have faced the same experience in their own lives Something only those who have lost a child would truely understand.

We love you Logan James! We can't wait to meet your little sister and tell her all about her big brother. What a strong little man you where and the joy to brought to our lives.

I’m sitting in bed and can’t sleep so I thought I’d start typing. I love feeling those little kicks and punches! Darren is getting to feel them now too and we see them sometimes when she gives a powerful one! I am so thankful I’m having a wonderful pregnancy again. Some sickness in the first few months, but now I’m feeling great.

So many people ask how we are and if we’re excited. WE ARE EXSTATIC!! Of course…there’s that BIG black cloud that will hang there until the day we bring her home. It’s a little hard to be jumping for joy until she is safely packed in her car seat in our car and we are bringing her HOME. OH what a day that will be. Be ready for some VERY red eyed parents (yes…because we’ll be getting NO sleep), but mainly tears of joy.

For those mothers who’ve had a C-section before I’m sure you think it a breeze…but I’m already biting my fingernails. My doctor told us we will be having another C-section (which I’m not complaining about), so that we don’t have the complications that we had with Logan’s birth. BUT…I wasn’t awake for my emergency C-section with Logan so I don’t remember a thing!! AHHH… I watched a video on http://www.babycenter.com/ (which is an awesome website for moms) of a woman that had a C-section for twins. Looked like a breeze…so I guess I should just start breathing easy. I recovered wonderfully from my 1st, so now I just have to be awake for this one (PLUS SIDE….I will be awake to see HER arrival) and I’m sure the rest will be beautiful!

Well…enough about my boring life! Hope you all are having a wonderful week.

Well…it looks like we are having…………… A GIRL!! We were given at FEMALE with a ? My gut feeling says it’s a girl…but maybe we’ll be surprised in a later ultrasound. She seems to be doing very well…Very healthy girl right on schedule, where she should be. We are so excited!! Now time to fill the closet…well maybe I should wait for the 100%...hehe!! I have to admit I have already done some shopping!

Good Morning All! I’m sitting in McDonald’s watching the elderly people sip their coffee and eat their muffins while I use their free internet!! If you are ever bored it's kinda fun to do...you learn a lot watching people!

Darren and I are getting moved into our apartment (pictures to come when everything is in order…haha) We got a little 2 bedroom apartment in Caldwell for the time being. Will probably be here for a least a year. Hoping to get a house put in one day soon…but for now this is where we will be. Enough room for Darren, I and the Baby. Boy or Girl??...can't wait to find out soon so I can get clothes put in the cloest!

Still no snow on the ground here...just frost.

What a fun weekend we are having. Darren and I surprised his Dad, Mom and Dana. We have been planning this for two weeks with Ben and Molly. We got in late last night and parked at the end of the driveway carried our stuff to Ben and Molly’s house and Darren parked up the road so they couldn’t see our car.

Molly had to all planned out, she and Ben made a beautiful breakfast and invited Jim and Janet over (Molly had told them all week that her parents where coming) BUT it was really us all along!! Haha!! What a Surprise, we had so much fun!

True Story...I had to work tonight, so I headed into town around 2:30. Went through the drive-thru to grab me something quick to eat. As I’m pulling around to the window I hear this crying, sounding like a cat coming from my car. OH GREAT!!! One of the kittens has taken a ride to town again. I can’t see believe she made the ride down the mountain, but she was ready to get out.

I pulled into the parking lot at the hotel calling for her. I can hear her under the hood of my explorer. So I pop the hood and keep calling to her. Out she crawls up out of the engine. I pretty sure she rode on the wheel well the whole way.

We had no boxes so I just had to put her in the backseat and hope she didn’t shread everything. She just laid down and napped until Darren came and got her on his way home from work.

I hope she has learned her lesson... it is not a good idea to hide in the car because you never know where it might take you!

She wasn't too happy!! Sorry dear not my fault!

Wow…can’t believe we are already on the 2nd week of August!! Time is flying! Things are going well here. Loving my job at the hotel…very fun and exciting place to be. Not so fun being close to the truck stop as you get many truckers that come to stay…most of them are very nice…but on the other hand some can be a little crazy…only had 1 invite this week for dinner so we are doing well! Hehe

Darren is still enjoying his job! He is the foreman on his jobs, directing the men what to do…or as some days he puts it “baby-sitting”. I’m beginning to understand that some of the men aren’t the brightest.

Preps here is underway for Sharon Convention…only a few weeks away. Everything seems to be in tiptop shape waiting for everyone to come. Hoping the weather will be nice and cool for our time together.

I’m so excited I start my new job this afternoon. I got a call yesterday morning from the Best Western in Caldwell. They wanted to do an interview with me a 1pm. So I headed in to town. I was so nervous because I hate interviews and answering all their questions!! But, it went quite well…I sat down and the lady told me here are your job requirements!! J Can you start training tomorrow!! Yay… I am so excited. I’ll be working 2^nd shift from 3pm – 11pm, which will be great because I’ll be busy checking people in. So wish me luck on my first day of training hopefully I catch on quick!

After a wonderful meeting at Louis and Helen Alfords in KY with some special friends and even some of Darren’s family, we headed to the Cincinnati Zoo for the afternoon.

So much fun…here are some of our pictures!

While we were waiting in line to get tickets a lady came up and ask if we wanted to free tickets??? UMMM… Yes!! Her work had given them out and 2 from their party didn’t show…We had a great time on our free visit to the zoo…but we made up for it in the café and the gift shop!

Darren got a job as of last Tuesday for Nicolozakes Trucking and Construction Inc. They do excavating work which is has done since high school and he loves running big machinery. He excited and needless to say so am I because I finally find have my husband back!! Yay!

My hunny is here for the weekend, leaves tomorrow. boo He has a job interview though…so that is exciting and we are hoping they need his help NOW!!! Delightful Day here in Southern Ohio. Beautiful weather…rather warm. Wonderful meeting this morning then a great lunch with wonderful friends @ Ryans. Darren and I came home and had a lazy afternoon. We took a short 4-wheeler ride and found a fawn (I was so mad I didn’t have my camera), Darren said it was about two weeks old. I have never seen one so tiny before…such a neat experience. I wanted to bring him home, but his mama was close by keeping a watchful eye so we left him peacefully. I wanted to go back and get a picture…maybe next time. After that we took a short drive to town and had to stop at Dairy Queen (not that we really needed it), then back to the house to let the dogs run and enjoy the beautiful evening! What a great day!! How was yours!

This was a special picture we received in April. This is Miss Haylee, she was Logan’s Pod Buddy when we were in Rochester. Such a sweet little girl. Logan got her this little outfit while we were there and she wore it for Easter this year!!

Hello All!! How is your wonderful May going? It’s has been beautiful here!! Actually three full days of sunshine!! I’m officially living here in Ohio and Darren is driving back and forth until he locks down a job here. Hopefully soon! So for now I fill my days with mowin’…mowin’…rackin’ and then more mowin. But, I love it cause I get a free tan!!

Wednesday we took Grandma to the open air flower market and she picked out some hanging flowers for her birthday. Mom, Rachel and I each got her one and then she picked one out for herself. So her porch is now full of beautiful purple flowers.

Then on Saturday Grandma and I went to another flower shop and got a lot of little flowers to plant in all of here pots...they are beautiful.

It’s pretty muggy here today…probably a storm coming in. They called for it all last week so I'm sure we'll get it now!

Can’t wait for Darren to get back…miss him like crazy!

Happy Mother’s Day to all you wonderful Mother’s out there!!

Last Night we took Mom and Grandma out to Olive Garden and they even got corsages and all!

We had a lot of fun!! We even were able to sneak in a little Birthday surprise on Grandma!

Her birthday is this Wednesday May 11th.

Kind of a Bitter/Sweet Day for me. Hard to believe almost 7 months ago I became a Mommy for the first time! Yet…so quickly a precious bundle taken. So thankful that HE is able to lead us through every experience in life, even the extra hard ones!
